An historic drinking fountain is being brought back to life in Brentford.

The structure in St Paul’s Recreation was first unveiled in 1889 for Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee.

It was decommissioned in 1970 as it had fallen into disrepair.

It’s being restored to its former glory by Heritage of London Trust with Friends of St Paul’s Recreation Ground and Hounslow Council.
