The force were called yesterday just after 5am to a hospital, where a 36-year-old man had been admitted.
He was seen leaving his flat at 11pm the previous day.
He’s described as white, 36-years-old, wearing a maroon baseball cap, a turquoise hooded top, and white trainers.
Anyone who was in the areas of Dingwall Road and Wellesley Road and might have information are asked to contact police on 101.
