Officers were called to Sunbury Cross Shopping Centre following reports of a large fight outside M&S at 5pm.
A 19-year-old man was stabbed in the leg and received a significant injury.
The group involved are described as being white and mixed race males between the ages of 14 and 20; no arrests have been made.
