People in New Malden say proposed cuts in train services are coming at a time when mass development is attracting more residents

South Western Railway is currently running a consultation on plans to reduce services across greater London from December 2022.

Trains from Hinchley Wood, which stop at New Malden at 7.45 and 8.15am, will no longer operate under the proposed plans. 

South Western Railway says less people are using its network since the outbreak of Covid.
