Spelthorne Council wants to end the use of bed and breakfast accommodation for homeless people.

It’s identified 6 key priorities in a review of its “Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy” action plan one year after it was finalised.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Spelthorne provided temporary housing for 23 people in need.

It’s also developing two new facilities in Ashford for homeless single people and families needing emergency accommodation.
