Five officers are to face misconduct hearings because of WhatsApp messages linked to the murder of Sarah Everard.

She was killed by Wayne Couzens - a serving policeman who was jailed for life last month.

The police watchdog says one of the posts was a highly offensive image, depicting violence against women.

It's outraged Shabnam Chaudhri, a former detective superintendent at the Met Police.

The police watchdog's still examining whether officers properly investigated allegations of indecent exposure made against Wayne Couzens.
