Mitcham Bridge has partially reopened after more than two years of repair works.

Councillor Martin Whelton says thanks to “residents who have accepted the massive change to their working lives”.

Cycle lanes have been introduced, although work is still finishing works on and around the structure.

Buses are also to remain on diversion for the coming weeks.
