Politicians will share their memories of Sir David Amess in the House of Commons today

There'll also be prayers and a minute's silence.

The 69-year-old was killed while meeting constituents in Leigh-on-Sea on Friday.

Police have until Friday to question a 25-year-old man arrested on suspicion of Sir David's murder.

Prayers were also held in churches yesterday, with Croydon North MP Steve Reed saying “his killer will not break the relationship between MPs and our constituents”.
