Nizar Mitha erected an outbuilding and three dormer extensions at his property in Streatham Road without permission.
Merton Council officers first served notices in June 2019 and an appeal by Mr Mitha to the Planning Inspectorate also failed.
He was found guilty of non-compliance with two enforcement notices when he appeared in court.
