After British Airway’s technical issues at Heathrow on Saturday, passengers are being advised to check their flights before travelling.

Long haul flights were unaffected by the problems which caused several delays to short haul services.

The airline has also cancelled flights from Heathrow Airport between the UK and Moscow because of airspace restrictions.

At Gatwick flights between the UK and Ukraine have been cancelled following the closure of Ukrainian airspace.
