Surrey Police has been recognised as Disability Confident Leaders for its ongoing action for inclusivity in the workforce.

For three years running it’s been handed the ‘Leader’ award for recruiting people with disabilities and long-term health conditions.

Over 20,000 organisations signed up to the Disability Confident scheme, supporting employers to embrace talents of disabled people.

The force is also a member of the Business Disability Forum, a non-profit organisation helping employers create a disability-smart world.
