A man has been rescued by fire crews in Chiswick and taken to hospital

The brigade was called on Saturday afternoon to Airedale Avenue.

Part of a three-roomed flat was damaged, and crews rescued a man from the bathroom.

It’s believed that it was caused by the unsafe disposal of smoking materials.
