A petition has been launched by shop owners trying to save their premises from possible demolition in Raynes Park

An application has been submitted to Merton Council to knock down and rebuild a parade of flats and shops in Grand Drive.   

But the new block would comprise only 3 shops instead of the current 8.   

The Change.org petition is calling for more shop allocation, and that the current retailers be given first refusal on it.
