A swimming club in Elmbridge has collectively swum 215 miles to raise money for Ukraine.

Among the swimmers at Elmbridge Phoenix was a 7-year-old who covered 48 lengths in an hour.

Together, they raised over £5,600.

Deputy Head Coach Lizzie Sawkings says she’s “incredibly proud” of what they’ve achieved for “such an important cause”.
