Croydon Council says it is set to meet its “ambitious” target of installing 400 new electric vehicle charging points.

When the remaining 94 are introduced next month, the authority will have exceeded its original goal, reaching a total of 435.

It’s part of the council’s plans to boost sustainable travel in response to the climate crisis.

The charging points will be spread across 51 different sites in the borough.
