London Heathrow airport has announced that passengers will no longer be required to wear a face covering from Wednesday.

The move applies to the airport’s terminals, bus and railways stations and office spaces.

Heathrow says passengers will still be encouraged to wear a face covering “particularly when coming into close contact with others”.
