More than £90,000 is to be spent protecting a nature conservation site on the Sutton Croydon border from motorbikes

Sutton council has secured the funding following numerous nuisance reports about riders. 

£60,000 will be spent enhancing entry barriers and some areas will also be tarmacked. 

Met police officers carried out six weeks of extra patrols last spring, seizing motorbikes and giving warnings to riders.
