Over 900,000 meals were distributed to families in need across Spelthorne during the Covid pandemic.

The council has released information on the way it has helped residents during the last two years. 

Over 17,000 welfare calls were made and £26 million handed to borough businesses through grants.

Cllr Ian Harvey, the Mayor of Spelthorne, says the borough has  demonstrated itself to be one of compassion.
