It was stolen from the victims address in Dutch Barn Closed between 11pm on Friday the 18th and 3am on Saturday the 19th of February.
The moped has since been recovered and returned to its owner, but officers are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Anyone with information, CCTV footage or who saw anything suspicious in the area is urged to contact police on 101.
