Richmond Council has met with residents to try and move a proposed sports ground redevelopment forward.

The proposals include a new pavilion at Moormead Rec in St Margaret’s, featuring toilets, a café and sports storage space.

£150,000 has been allocated for the project which has already been approved by the council.

Friends of Moormead and Moormead Community and Sports Pavillion Charity are working with Richmond Council on it.
