The hunt is on to find a male home for a cat which has been in the care of a charity in Mitcham for more than a year.

Nine-year-old Bobby’s owner died in February last year and he was given to Cats Protection. 

Despite appeals in Surrey, Sussex and London, the “loving black cat” has been overlooked for a full year.

 The charity is calling for cat-loving men to come forward, as Bobby has shown signs of preferring the company of men.
