The world number one tennis player could be barred from Wimbledon this year, unless he condemns his country’s invasion of Ukraine

Sports minister Nigel Huddleston says the government is speaking to the All-England club about Russian Daniil Medvedev.

He says “nobody flying the flag for Russia should be allowed or enabled”.

Medvedev has no known links to Vladimir Putin.
