Young chefs are battling it out today at the semi-finals of the prestigious Roux Scholarship competition

Established in 1983, it has enabled a new generation of chefs from Britain to train in the greatest restaurants in the world. 

Kenneth Culhane is head chef at the Michelin starred The Dysart Restaurant Petersham in Ham. 

He won the competition in 2010.
