The Start-up School for Seniors is an eight-week course aimed at helping reduce unemployment in the over 50s.
According to Office for National Statistics, there are now 550,000 fewer people aged over 50 in employment than in March 2020.
One in five people over 50 are also self-employed; more than any other age group.
