A helicopter was used yesterday morning to locate a man in Tooting who allegedly fled from the police.

The National Police Air Service was deployed, with the man later found by a police dog.

He was reportedly hiding in a garden and was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, being equipped to steal and drug offences.
