A jump in sales of a treatment for shingles has helped GlaxoSmithKline report better than expected results.

The Brentford based pharma firm has reported a 39 percent rise in operating profits - to 2-point-6 billion pounds.

Sales of Shingrix more than doubled thanks to strong demand in the US and Germany.
