A serving Met Police officer is appearing at Croydon Magistrates’ Court charged with rape

The offence was reported to have happened in September in Lambeth while the officer was off duty.

PC Ireland Murdock, who is attached to the Central North Command Unit, was arrested in January. 

He’s currently suspended from duty.
