An extinction rebellion activist has begun a new hunger strike, after being refused bail

Emma Smart from Weymouth stopped eating for 26 days while in HMP Bronzefield in Ashford last year, for her part in Insulate Britain protests.

She’s now being held at Charing Cross Police Station after glueing herself to a government building.

Nine people were arrested during the action at the Business and Energy office.
