Campaigners have signed a joint letter calling on Pfizer to “end its monopolies on COVID-19 vaccine and treatment technologies.”

 The American pharmaceutical giant almost doubled its annual revenue to $81.3bn last year. 

Campaigners from the People’s Vaccine Alliance will deliver the letter to Pfizer’s UK headquarters in Tadworth today.    

Several of them are from families bereaved by COVID-19, which they says is as a result “of lack of vaccine access.”
