The “Wolf of Wimbledon”, Jeffrey Revell-Reade, was convicted in 2014 for £70m worth of boiler room fraud.
The Serious Fraud Office has worked with partners in Madrid to settle a luxury penthouse in the Costa Del Sol to recoup his gains.
After being informed of the compensation, a victim said “I dropped a tear” and that the fraud “continues to have an impact on my life”.
