Retired tennis number one Ash Barty has signed up to play in an international exhibition golf tournament, prompting speculation it might be her next challenge in sport

The reigning Wimbledon Champion abruptly quit tennis last month and will go up against sports people including Pep Guardiola, Harry Kane and Michael Phelps in the event in June and July.

Barty has already played women's cricket professionally in an earlier tennis sabbatical.
