Royal Parks says it’s “disappointing” people are ignoring advice to stay away from the deer, less than a week after the request was made

It’s currently deer birthing season in Richmond and Bushy Parks and visitors are being asked to keep their distance and their dogs on leads. 

However, a group of people were filmed touching the deer and feeding them at Pen Ponds on Sunday afternoon. 

Royal Parks asks visitors to stay at least 50 metres away from the wild animals and to never touch or try to feed them.
