Thames Water is installing a new £1 million sewer pipe in Kingston to help protect properties from flooding.

The company will be replacing a 45-metre-long section of the current pipe in Eden Street.

Works are due to start on Monday and should be finished by early July. 

Unprecedented levels of rainfall have hit parts of the country over the last year, leading to flooded roads and properties.
