Unpaid carers in Surrey are to receive more support to looked after loved ones under new and improved contracts.

With input from families in the county, they’re designed to bring several improvements to help carers and loved ones lead better lives.

Benefits include “Giving Carers a Voice” service which will encourage feedback from carers to help further refine services.

There will also be five new support hubs, a support service for carers of people with mental health needs and up to 35 hours of breaks.
