They took to the new Beeline Way which runs from the station to Raynes Park.
The walking and cycling route has been blighted with graffiti tags since it opened to the public last spring.
Volunteer residents, who have also been busy planting tulips, say they wanted the official artwork of a badger and butterflies preserved.
