A demonstration has been held outside HMP Bronzefield in Ashford calling for an end to imprisoning pregnant women.

It comes after the anniversary of a baby’s death there. 

On Saturday former inmates and women with children were protesting for a change. 

One of the woman who was demonstrating said ‘it was a trauma that will live with me forever’
