Personal stories about the veterans who used to hand make the poppy’s are being told in full by the Museum of Richmond.
Vintage poppies and other key artefacts have been brought together which shows how The Factory grew into a bustling local enterprise.
Earlier it was opened by the Lord Lieutenant of Greater London, Sir Kenneth Olisa the Mayor of Richmond, Cllr Julia Cambridge and the President of The Poppy Factory, Surgeon Rear Admiral Lionel Jarvis.
