A review into a missing persons case, a girl later found in Croydon, has shown there are lessons to be learnt within the force.

Owami Davies was reported missing to Essex Police on Wednesday the 6th of July. 

Reports show there was a delay in Owami's details being added to the Police National Computer, used to share information with other forces.

She spoke to officers in Croydon the same day but because her details were not on the dater base, police did not know she had been reported missing.
