Lifetime tenancies for people in Wandsworth in social housing are being reintroduced.

The council was run by the Conservatives for 44 years, before being taken over by Labour in May.

Their other plans include 1,000 homes at social rent prices, and investing more in homelessness.

Lifetime tenancies were made more difficult to grant in government legislation in 2016, but the measures haven’t been enforced.
