Oxshott resident Andy Murray admits Roger Federer's imminent retirement has made him think about what the ideal way to bow out of tennis would be.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion will partner Rafael Nadal for Europe when they play the Rest of the World in the Laver Cup doubles in London tomorrow.

Murray says watching Federer retire by teaming up with another great is close to perfect.
