A group says “no polluting death machine will be spared” as
they prepare to let down tyres in London.
The Tyre Extinguishers Group says that they let out 21 SUVs
in two evening in Wimbledon.
Merton Councillor Max Austin says “is not only wrong,
exclusionary and dangerous but also stupidly counterproductive”.

A garden Centre in Ham is trying to extend the hours it can
sell alcohol for.
A petition in support of it has gained nearly 7,000
signatures.
Petersham Nurseries says it could hold supper clubs more
often and have more funds to support their workers.
It's submitted an application to Richmond Council.

Two police officers had to be rescued by firefighters,
following a collision with a bus in Sutton.
Two people were taken to a major trauma centre and three to
hospital, after the incident on Saturday.
It happened at around 9.15pm on Carshalton Road, and required
five ambulance crews.

A consultation is taking place this evening regarding the
latest plans for Tolworth Tower.
People will be able to give their views at Tolworth Broadway
