Mayor of London Sadiq Khan had a tour this morning before thousands of people were finally allowed inside.
The original 1930s art deco building has been preserved but 250 shops and restaurants are now based inside of it.
88 year old Rita Kelly was one of the guests today; she worked as a junior secretary at the site in the 1950s.
