It’s estimated that more than 1,300 residents aged 65 and over are living with dementia in Hammersmith and Fulham.

This number is predicted to increase by 42% by 2030.

The council is now looking to make the borough a “Dementia friendly community.”

The aims of such communities are to increase diagnosis rates, reduce social isolation, and provide clear and accessible support.
