Rail workers at 14 train companies are joining Network Rail in striking on the 3rd and 5th of November, in their long-running row over pay and conditions.

The first date coincides with separate walkouts by London Underground and Overground staff.

The Rail, Maritime and Transport Union has another date planned later that week, too.

Network Rail says it's invited them for 'intensive' talks.
