It’s part of the council’s efforts to get them to use more sustainable forms of transport.
Once a business has been approved for the Zipcar scheme, they have access to the electric vehicle for up to 30 days.
It’s hoped this will ease the financial burden of purchasing and maintaining their own vehicle.
