The parents of a child who died during a flood in Chertsey are outside Downing Street, on what would have been his 16th birthday

His parents are delivering a petition of nearly 120,000 asking for an independent panel inquiry into Zane Gbangbola’s death.

An inquest claims he died from carbon monoxide poisoning from a petrol pump, although his family dispute this.

They allege that his death was caused by flood water contaminated by a landfill site, and have been calling for an investigation.
