The Prime Minister says she supports the Transport Secretary’s view that Heathrow should be expanded.

Liz Truss was responding to a question from Lib Dem Richmond Park MP, Sarah Olney, who raised the issue at Prime Minister’s Questions this lunchtime. 

Lib Dem MP Sarah Olney is against expansion.

The No 3rd Runway coalition says “it’s difficult to see how any responsible government would allow the interests of the regions to be so inadvertently overlooked by ploughing on with Heathrow, regardless”.
