60 firefighters were called to the blaze on London Road at 1 o’clock on Saturday afternoon.
10 people evacuated the building where the whole of a three-roomed flat on the second floor was destroyed by fire.
The two women and child were assessed for smoke inhalation and taken to hospital.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
