The funeral of one of the Second World War’s last black “Pilots of the Caribbean” will be held at Mortlake Crematorium next week.

Peter Brown, a retired flight sergeant from the Windrush generation, was found dead in his flat in Maida Vale, aged 97.

A search is underway to try and locate his family. 

The service will take place at midday on Wednesday.
