The government has passed a ban on trophy hunters bringing their spoils back into the UK.

Some conservationists in Africa say the move will severely impact the income on people reliant on the trade. 

Leatherhead based Sheldrick Wildlife Trust operates an orphan elephant rescue and rehabilitation program in Kenya. 

Rob Brandford is the charity’s Executive Director; he says trophy hunting is not only cruel, it decimates animal hierarchies.
